May 18 saw the dedication of the newest park in Highlands Ranch - Red-tail Park. "We do a dedication each time we open a new park," said Sherry Eppers, Metro Districts of Highlands Ranch community relations manager. Highlands Ranch currently has a total of 21 parks. And what would a dedication for Red-tail park be without a red-tailed hawk? Courtesy of HawkQuest, a nonprofit organization based in Parker, residents witnessed a live red-tailed hawk and great horned owl in all their glory.
