![]() HawkQuest Receives Xcel Energy Environmental Partnership Grant HawkQuest received one of eleven environmental partnership grants from the Xcel Energy Foundation in 2003. HawkQuest is a Colorado environmental education organization and received the funds to develop curriculum that will feature Xcel Energy's Birdcams as a tool teachers can use in their classrooms. In the past five years alone the program has shared its conservation message with 2.5 million adults and children. The Lopezes, who are married, are active HawkQuest volunteers.
