HawkQuest Receives Xcel Energy Environmental Partnership Grant
HawkQuest received one of eleven environmental partnership grants from the Xcel Energy Foundation in 2003. HawkQuest is a Colorado environmental education organization and received the funds to develop curriculum that will feature Xcel Energy's Birdcams as a tool teachers can use in their classrooms. In the past five years alone the program has shared its conservation message with 2.5 million adults and children.
