Become a Member

HawkQuest annual memberships are available at a variety of levels (individual, student, family, corporate), and help support our birds by providing for care and feeding, maintenance of their housing, and by subsidizing our educational lectures.

Depending on membership level, members receive benefits such as discounts on HawkQuest merchandise, attendance at special HawkQuest events, and special appearances by HawkQuest at your company.

Become a Volunteer

Note: The July 2007 Volunteer Class is full. We are currently accepting volunteer applications for the next class.

HawkQuest conducts a volunteer class annually. This unique learning experience teaches volunteers to interact with HawkQuest's magnificent raptors safely in a variety of settings. The requirements for volunteering are that you:

1. be at least 18 years of age
2. have a current tetanus shot
3. attend a 16 hour volunteer class
4. observe 2 lectures, 1 booth event and 2 field programs within 30 days of completion of the class
5. spend at least 8 hours per month handling a bird in each of the two months after the class
6. spend at least 4 hours per month handling a bird thereafter

A $50 class fee is required.

(Note: You can either fill out the form on your computer and print it out, or print the blank form and fill it out by hand.) A representative of HawkQuest will contact you soon after receiving your Volunteer Application.
